McKell Barrett, LCSW - Therapist
McKell (she/her) received her undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude in Psychology from Portland State University. She received her Master of Social Work Summa Cum Laude from the University of Denver. McKell understands the importance of relationships and strives to build a trusting, curious, safe relationship while encouraging deep internal self-healing. McKell works with complex and single event traumas, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias and panic attacks, anxiety, and is an avid ally and supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community.
McKell mainly uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Integrative Somatics, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure Therapies, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to guide her conceptualizations and create a safe environment for emotional exploration and behavior change. McKell has experience and training with Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and integration. Mckell is currently only seeing clients via Telehealth.
