Aschylus Robinson, LCSW - Clinical Supervisor

Aschylus [uh-shy-lus] (she/her) uses person-centered, relational, and non-judgmental practices to help foster safety for clients. One of Aschylus’ primary focuses as a clinician is helping clients identify and express emotions in safe and healthy ways; as well as help clients work through the discomfort they experience when navigating negative emotions. Aschylus believes that emotions are simply messengers, we just have to learn to listen.

Aschylus’ practice is rooted in interpersonal modalities, and she works off a 'here and now' approach to identify, express and challenge behavior and held beliefs. She utilizes the following modalities: Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) and Gottman Method into her clinical practice depending on the client’s needs and pace. Aschylus works with adolescents, adults, and couples and has a specialization with the Older Adult (geriatric) population.

Originally from Chicago, Aschylus obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare administration with a minor in Psychology from the College of Saint Scholastica and a Masters of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Aschylus’ is a plant enthusiast, she also enjoys writing poems and short stories, reading memoirs and realistic fiction, and traveling.

Aschylus is a clinical supervisor at RMC Counseling and does not see clients. Aschylus sees clients at Kulima Therapy.
