Marianne Lentz, CSW - Therapist

Marianne (she/her) believes that healing relationships are often the starting point for meaningful change. Marianne is passionate about creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where those relationships can thrive. Marianne aims to meet her clients wherever they are and engage them as experts of their own experiences, collaborating with them to guide both the direction and goal of therapy.

Marianne utilizes various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Motivational Interviewing as she seeks to help clients build upon their inner strengths and resources in order to experience greater satisfaction and harmony with themselves, others, and the world around them. Marianne enjoys working with teens and adults and incorporates mindfulness and self-compassion practice into sessions.

Marianne’s therapeutic work spans a decade and includes school and residential settings as well as outpatient mental health and substance abuse settings. Marianne received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. When she’s not working, Marianne enjoys hiking, baking, and spending time with her husband and three daughters.
