Rosemary Sperry, LCSW - Therapist

Rosemary’s (she/her) primary motivating belief is empowering clients to recognize their own strengths and then utilize those strengths to create changes they desire in their lives. She enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and families. Rosemary received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Utah State University and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Utah. Rosemary has worked in youth and adult residential settings, in hospital settings in inpatient behavioral units, and in outpatient therapy settings, working with both individuals and families. Rosemary’s primary clinical experience is working with Eating Disorders, co-occurring with anxiety, depression, and trauma in a residential therapy environment. She emphasizes the importance of connecting body image, body sensations, emotions, and “wants” to connect one physically, emotionally, and mentally. Rosemary loves the everyday interactions with people and appreciates and acknowledges that each individual is the expert of themselves and she is there to learn from them and work with them as a team. She emphasizes the importance of good therapeutic rapport and a client-centered approach. Rosemary emphasizes high-spirited and creative approaches that support and enhance each individual’s success.
