Olivia Boger - Therapist Intern
Olivia (she/her) is currently a graduate student at Northwestern University pursuing her Master's in Mental Health Counseling. Originally from Atlanta, Olivia got her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Duke University and then spent time as a teacher, teacher educator, and in social impact.
Olivia uses a strengths-based and resilient coping approach and draws on elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-focused therapy (EFT), and Psychodynamic theory when working in partnership with clients. Challenging things happen in life – how can we use and develop our skills to navigate tough times? How can we grow our flexibility and adaptability?
Olivia loves getting outside with her family and dog as much as possible, listening to the Hamilton soundtrack, and coaching girl's lacrosse.
Rebecca Cohen, LCSW is Olivia’s clinical supervisor.
