Jonathan Davis, LCMHC - Therapist
Jonathan (he/him) believes that every individual holds the potential to live a rich, fulfilling, and joy-filled life. He works with each client to help identify their own unique set of values and goals that will empower them to achieve the change that they seek. His therapy practice is informed by the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Interpersonal Process. Jonathan received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Utah and went on to receive a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Westminster College. He has worked in depth with individuals seeking help for substance abuse with co-occurring depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. He understands how the effects of untreated trauma and/or mental illness can significantly contribute to struggles with daily life. He also works to help individuals increase their interpersonal effectiveness with others and build healthier relationships with their friends, partners/spouses, and family members. Jonathan is a native of Idaho but has called Utah home for the last 20 years. He enjoys spending much of his downtime with family and friends in the great outdoors of Utah and especially loves time spent with his dog, Ellie, the Giant Schnauzer. He also enjoys good reads, music, movies, and theater, and it is not unusual to catch him singing a tune to himself.
