Hannah Wilhelmsen, LCSW - Therapist, Autism Diagnostic Evaluator

Hannah (she/they) is passionate about working with young adults to help them improve their mental health and wellness. She works with clients who experience Autism, ADHD, LGBTQIA+ issues, negative body image, disordered eating habits, trauma symptoms, and women's issues. They have multiple years of experience working with clients in intensive outpatient settings, after-school programs, inpatient hospital settings, emergency crisis services, and individual outpatient treatment. Hannah takes a client-centered approach and believes that all people have the capacity for positive growth and change.

Hannah pulls from a variety of treatment modalities to ensure that their clients are receiving well-rounded care. She frequently utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Sandplay Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, the Health at Every Size (HAES) framework, and Feminist-Multicultural Therapy techniques in treatment.

Additionally, Hannah provides Autism diagnostic testing, specializing in diagnosing Level 1 Autistic teens and adults who have gone undiagnosed and unsupported for far too long. Hannah is extremely passionate about helping Autistic people get the support and resources they need to live happy, healthy lives.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Hannah received both their Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Utah with a concentration in mental health. In addition to her master's degree, Hannah received a graduate certificate in women's health from the University of Utah. Hannah is a queer, neurodivergent person and an avid supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement, women's rights, disability rights, and the LGBTQIA+ community. In their free time, you can find Hannah dancing, painting, reading, hiking with her dog, or engaging with her special interests, which include Twenty One Pilots, Taylor Swift, and Loki.

Hannah is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, EMI Health, University of Utah Health Plans, and SelectHealth plans for therapy. She accepts EMI Health and SelectHealth for Autism evaluations. Hannah’s private pay rates are $185 for intake sessions and $160 for follow-up therapy sessions.
